So, the show went off very well. And by very well, I mean we had a good sized audience (one of the people there was an IHOP regular that I dragged with me after getting my morning (9:00pm) coffee), a lot of sales, and good reactions from the crowd. I was playing Transie, so I admit I didn't see everything from the stage, so I can't really comment that much on what all happened, save for from the Transie perspective. And my perspective last week was pretty goddamn awful. You see, I was wearing fishnets over my head with sunglasses and an afro wig. In other words, I was blind at the time. "Why," you ask? I have no idea. Just seemed like a good thing to do at the time. I ran into a lot of things, and mistook Fish (Nathan) for Saturn. It wasn't until Tank Scene (Right before Sword of Damocles) that I realized I didn't know who was playing what part (thank goodness the cast lineup was posted elsewhere for me to find, otherwise it would have been completely impossible for me to tell you who was what part).
So, yeah. It's not much of a show report (I usually make these things several pages long, but then, I usually have my eyesight during the show), but it's really all I can tell you. Other than textures. And in case you're curious:
Rail bars - smooth
Ground - cold, and not really sticky like I would have expected
Air - chilly
Transie white face - sticky
Afro wig - scratchy
Sweat-soaked fishnets - soggy and disturbing
Shoes - humid and uncomfortable (I prefer sandals)
The Box of Death - Hard and woody (this is funnier if you say it with a gay voice)
Person sitting on the box in front of me - Warm, with a nice shirt (no added texture, as that drives me insane)
