Show report for Saturday August 16th

Report by Madame Leah

This was the absolute BEST show I have seen in a long time! I had a blast at this one, and judging by the screaming going on in the audience, lots of others did too! Here's the lineup:

Frank : Fish and Beau - Oh yea, we went there!
Janet : Wes
Brad : Mr. Saturn
Riff : Shannon
Magenta : Donna
Columbia : Limey
Dr. Scott : Mike
Rocky : Sean
Eddie : Cody
Crimmie : Starman
Spot A : Ray
Spot B : Emily
Board : Madame Leah
Sound : David and Mike
Grip: Cody, Nuggett, Wolf, and Sean
Props : Eris and Amy
Floorwalkers: Cody, Jason, Starman, and Wolf
Pre-Show : Sean
Show Report : Madame Leah
Piccies : Mary
Transies- Amy, Ashley, Britt, Cory, Eris, Halo, Josh, Kirk, Mary, Pete, Scott, Stefanie, TJ, Twitch, Meighan, and Teresa

First of all, we got started on time, even with the fast ghetto-stapling-rigging of the underside of the tank that we had to do. (It was lovely, thank you boys.) I noticed also that we had some old cast in the lobby, among them Kelly (Maggie Kelly), Amanda (the one with the HUGE boobies), and Sean (bald Sean), who is now back with wife and son. There was also Sheryl, who is one of our Honorary Cast Members (she lives in Germany). It is always exciting to me to see the former cast supporting us and coming to heckle. :) We had a pretty full house, there weren't that many seats left, so there was lots of scrunching in to make room. During Pre-Show, we had three girls up there for most of the dancing, which is always awesome. I must take the time to point out that Halo's makeup this go round was AMAZING, she did Pirate Trixie, and had little clouds and stuff painted on her face, it was so awesome!!!!

Was Sean up there for Virgin Games? Why do I not remember this? Senility???

There were lots of Virgins, I remember that. I went up to one guy and was like, "Oh wow, you are dressed like Ralph Hapschatt, that's great!" and he looked at me like I was retarded. Another go round of staring at the poor guy and I realized that he was most likely dressed like that because he was chosen to be Ralph and one of the Transies put the jacket on him. Sometimes I amaze myself at how slow I am.

ALSO!!! We received BRIBERY!!!! It was AWESOME!!!! We got a bag of homemade chocolate chip cookies from 2 of our Frankie Fans, and they were great! (We totally ate them all during cast meeting, thank you so much!) And Billy I love you, he gave me tomatoes from his garden (and I am a whore for fresh tomatoes also, so thanks) and they, too, were tasty morsels of goodness.

Jarrod was our Super LB Bitch for the night, and Eris led him around quite nicely because I was on Board and couldn't really move. I got to sit by Matt and Whitey and Don, which was good times. I don't get to sit and chat a lot, so this was fun for me. :) I loves my boys. :) Anyway, onto the show.

Well it all started with Wes as Janet, and I moved the lineup around that. The reason you saw him as Janet is because it was off of a winning lotter card, in which an andience member (Meigan - I think I spelled it right) chose Wes to play Janet. (This is one of the reasons you should buy the tickets, it was HILAAAAARIOUS.) So thank you, for that. :) I decided that this would be a fun lineup in order to beat Wes. He is such a trooper, that one. I really love Wes. He is a really great guy, despite the reputation he keeps trying to front. LOL. He's always such a great performer, regardless of the role. This one he totally took in stride. I really have to hand it to him for this one. The wig falling off like 400 times and trying to run in high heels, wow. Just awesome, LOL!!! I think that the worst of it was bedroom scene, where not just Beau but Fish tagged out and Kirk came running up there, stipped to nothing save a small (yes, too small) pair of girl's pink butterfly decorated panties. His nut popped out. A lot popped out. "And I heard this little voice say, "Your balls are popping out."" Thanks for that Kirk, I really think they enjoyed that. I know that Wes sure did! Especially the part where all of you were riding him at once and he was curled into the fetal position crying on the Box of Death. Ohh, such great memories!

OK. You also most likely noticed that the lineup has 2 boys listed as Frank. The reason for this is because I allowed Fishie and Beau to do what we call "Dueling Franks". It does not happen often, but dear God, when it does...great times. Basically what happens is the two actors fight for the spotlight, and do all kinds of anything and everything in order to kill off or maim the other one, and take the floor for themselves. It started when Fish entered for Sweet T, and I almost had a heart attack when he tripped going down the aisle and fell (I actually forgot about that part) and then Beau pops up in his place. Beau has most of Sweet T until Fish knocks him off with some chloroform at the end of the song. Beau later knocks Fish out and takes the green robe, and then basically they just beat the shit out of each other most of the show. The best part was during Fay Wray, where it starts off with Beau in a wheelchair and Fish on crutches. Eris played TAG and hit Beau, who then hit Fish with No-Tag-Backs, and he had to hobble off the stage to go find someone else. So Beau starts Fay Wray, then eventually gets knocked out of the chair by Wes (another LB Frank), who of course steps in, only to be TOTALLY bitch slapped down by Saturn (obviously a Frank), who was then tackled by Cody (another Frank), and then full circle when Fish returned on the crutches and hit all three of them in the head to almost end it. By the end of Fay Wray though, all 5 of my Frankie boys were up there singing "Can't you just see it, Whooo-OOHOOO-hhooooooo!". In unison. A thing of beauty, my dears. Only with LB are you going to see a thing so wonderful as this. For all that you can say about my boys, they do love each other, even if they pretend they don't. This part brought tears to my eyes, and I totally don't care if you think that is super gay. They followed it up both the full dressed Franks, Fishie and Beau, doing Wild and Untamed Thing, also in unison. They were pretty much dead on. I was very proud to call them mine. :)

Saturn's Brad was the perfect compliment to Wes as Janet. He is so patient and nice, even to Wes. I saw him jerking Wes around a little bit more than necessary though, which really made me happy. Hee hee. Get him Saturn. And ahhh yes, the Saturn is SMART, he just immediately ran from Beau and Fish during bedroom scene, and it was beautiful. Didn't even blink, just up onto the top of the box and over it, started running. Good, smart people, that one.

Shannon and Donna amuse the hell out of me as Riff and Maggie. Shannon has played Riff for a long time, and has this cute "yea, why should I really give a shit" attitude about it, because she really kinda does but doesn't usually show it. She beats them, and they are afraid, as they should be. She is Riff-y greatness, and doesn't miss cues, which makes Leah happy.

Donna also has played Maggie many times over said years, and she has nothing to prove to no one, and therefore if she feels like looking bored, she will do so. Some of my favorite quotes from Donna from this past Saturday: "I hate this corset. I can't breathe." "I don't want to wear all that makeup, so I didn't." "Was I supposed to do that? Oops." "Why do you do these things to me? You are evil." I love Donna. She enjoys torturing the others as much as I do, she is evil too. Don't let her fool you!!!

Limey: Boobs, out of corset. More than once. Whole front row, very happy. 'Nuff said!

Cody: Very loud Eddie-ness. He stopped the clapping thing with Columbia, which makes me laugh. He hit Wes and picked up BOTH the Franks to carry them off, which is a feat of strength I could never hope to understand. I loves my little stable boy!

Sean: Dear crap, did you hear how loud the girls scream for Sean??? All the girls love Sean, lol. He looks great in a speedo, what can I say? Even when his balls pop out, he is cute! He is a great little Rocky Horror, even if he screwed up individual Floorshow. He is like this lanky weird smart motherfucker, and he is single. If you are smart, talk to him. (And he will most likely kick my ass for this later.)

Mike screamed in his Columbia voice almost the ENTIRE TIME he was onstage as Dr. Scott. We were all about to piss ourselves! I didn't even think that he could REACH that octave. *shudders*

Starman was Crimmie, and for ONCE didn't get humped the whole time! I was really excited for him! He always has double duty as our head Floorwalker, so I have to giggle a little bit when I see him run back to Crimmie's spot because he has forgotten that he is a core part. (Like I said, "Tee hee".)

My Transies of Doom are awesome! I have said it many times before and I will never stop saying it, I love my Transies! They are the bestest most wonderful and loud, colorful and energetic group in the world! Some of them need a little brushing up (COUGH COUGH NOT NAMING ANY NAMES DAMMIT) but in general they totally rock my socks. And they love to Dance Dance during Creation scene, and that makes me so happy inside! I love all the colors and sizes and outfits, and glorious gayness. I love that the represent Transylvanians as a whole and are proud of it. Sometimes it is a really thankless role, and there are many of them that carry that torch so well. Hard core!!!!

My Techies always get left out. I care, though, because without Tech you don't have CRAP for a show, and most people forget that. We had Ray and Emily, working off of a newly revised script, which was mostly adhered to except the light coming on too early again when Frank gets the damned martini glass. LOL. I had my little kitty (David) and Mike working sound this time, and they were rocking the house. I really liked the Pre-Show music, I hadn't heard it before but it was quite catchy. And yaaaaay they played Down, Down Sugar for Creation (I looooves that one), which is always a crowd pleaser, it just gets ya movin'. :) But anyway, my Techies and Grip guys work really hard on making the show functioning smoothly and well. They don't get lots of credit for what they do, but there is much to be said in the ways of thanks from me to them. A great show has very much to do with who is behind the scenes, and not always so much what goes on up front. Meh, here I go again. LOL. Anyway, yes, my Techies are awesome, thank you.

Floorwalkers are always a pain in my ass because they don't listen to me or to each other, and that makes me want to beat them. Not really. They are actually pretty good, most things considered. Over the years I have heard SOOO much worse than Saturday. Ha, I just had to goad them a bit, just to get them a little puffed. (Love you, guys...)

And Jason, I love you and your tacos. Whitey, I am sure you have a cute ass. I am still waiting for that speedo.
