I love Denton!

Thank you to all of you who came out to see us! For those of you whose first time it was to see RHPS and the Bastards live, we hope you enjoyed it! We had a costume contest “Who are you and what are you?” that went quickly. We saw some GREAT costumes, and gave out some seriously expensive and awesome prizes (I love Target!). I also wanted to extend another “THANK YOU” to the Denton Movie Tavern’s staff, who always go out of their way to dress up for our shows and to welcome the Bastards with open arms any time we go there to perform.

They have great service at that place, and the theatre is beautiful. If you haven’t been there before, you should at least visit!

I want also to extend a special “Thank you” to Mary, who as soon as she came out of the bathroom with full Transie make-up, found out that she would have to take over spot for one of the other cast members that had something come up. I know that it is a pain in the ass to put on the makeup and then NOT be onstage, so thank you, Mary, for always doing stuff and never complaining about it. YAY MARY!

We had lots of colorful and LOUD people in the Denton audience this time, and several completely wrapped up in toilet paper by the end of the night. It was glorious. Sean and Mike TOTALLY rocked the house on sound…I don’t think I have ever heard them scream so loud for just the music! I like it when the boys strip onstage, ha.

Show went well, we hope to have many other misadventures in the Land of Denton. We had an AWESOME guy up on the Lesbian box with us, dressed as Cesar. It was lovely, because he was saying “More, more more!!!” with us. He was good people! My boobs didn’t fall out, we didn’t get shot in the face with a water gun, and JJ and I got to sit on hot girls during car scene, yay! (Always welcome, that.)

There was much boobage this show. Dear God, much boobage! I love Denton. That is all. There might be more of this later, I am being lazy, a bit, the true Dentonite I am.
