Show report for Saturday January 24th

Cartoon Theme Show

Report by Shannon

Watch out, cause here we come! Its not been awhile, and we were never in style. So sit back and have some fun! We'll bring you action and satisfaction! We're the Bastards! B-A-S-T-A-R-D-S! We're the Bastards, guaranteed to darken your day! And that's all I got, I'm just not that witty at 930 pm. Seriously y0. I would like to say that our much anticipated Cartoon Theme Show was sold out! Booyah! That's right, who could resist the bastards yucking it up as our favorite cartoons, certainly not 200 of our closest friends, that's who. After we managed to get everyone seated Wes, Megan, Britt, Halo, Saturn, and Ashley performed The Boys and Girls of Rock And Roll. Now for those who aren't sure what that is exactly: its one of the awesomest songs ever done by Alvin and the Chipmunks (and oh yea, the Chipettes too...*shoots Britney*) Its from the movie The Chipmunk Adventure (1987) which I recommend everyone to watch. They all did wonderfully, but (in my opinion) the girls did better, but when Alvin came on the screen for his solo the audience went wild. So...everyone go hug the girls and tell them you appreciate them as much as we all love the Chipmunks. And for those who haven't seen it...TOUGH! BWAHAHAHAHAH! But you can check out the still images from the photo gallery. Hop to it bucko!

So after preshow of awesome we had our EMCEES (Starman as Comic Book Guy from Simpsons...and Jason as Casey Jones.) So...Leah was dressed as She-Ra and Cody was He-Man. Then Beau came down...and somehow Leah's sword ended up broken. There's a picture of Leah's face just before she chased Beau from the theatre. So anyways, we start the show and there was much happening by way of shenanigans. We had Chipmunks, and Roger Rabbit, Venture Bros, Family Guy, Rainbow Brite, He-Man and She-Ra, and Swat Kats. OMG. Swat Kats. Mary and Pete were Eddie and they were Swat Kats. The intro music was so loud they were completely thrown off so, if you watch the video feel bad for them instead of mocking them. They couldn't hear their cues. Also, it was Pete's first time to play Eddie. Pete did the lift. It was marvelous. So go HERE And watch. It's amazing. Amy was dressed as Meg. I don't know how right it is to tell someone they looked awesome as Meg...because, well, its Meg Griffin and no one likes her. BUT OMG. Amy did a wonderful job, and she even acted like Meg throughout the whole show. I was so very amused. Like...chasing Frank instead of being chased by Frank and yelling things like “I'm beautiful! Why don't you love me.” But Even Meg had her standards cause she was not going to do anything with Bobcat's Carl.

OH and Frank...OMG FISH. He was Dr. Girlfriend from the Venture Bros. It was CREEPY. And JJ and Nugget. I love them. For most of the show they were Shaggy and Betty Rubble. Then for Dinner Scene JJ became Velma. Not turtle neck, dyke Velma...but V-neck from the movie hot (but possibly still a dyke) Velma. It was HOT. Then...the part that made me squeal like the fan girl I am...for Spacesuit scene...Nugget was Inspector Gadget and she was Penny. Complete with theme music. The nerd in me was so very excited. We had a “visit” from Jason dressed as Orko (He-Man) during one She-Ra's solos (Leah played Crimmie for the first time!) and she was very excited about that. During tank scene we had some pattycake lovin' going on between Wes's Roger Rabbit and Ashlea's Jessica. We also had Beau trying to ruin something else near and dear to the Madame's heart. Hello Kitty. He came out dressed as Hello Kitty...and Leah was not happy. What did make Leah happy though, we Mike. Every theme show Mike manages to come up with Amazing costumes or ideas. For this show, he reprized his Dr Scott is a Carebear costume. I love it. OH! And another love...even though he wasn't doing anything (that I recall) Walker. Walker came dressed as Freakazoid. It apparently took a can and a half of hairspray to get his hair to stay up that way. Most people wanted to see what would happen if they flicked a cigarette at it. We went to get breakfast after the show and patrons at the restaurant were confused (except for one table where someone shouted “I LOVE YOU FREAKAZOID”) Good times.

And finally … floor show. There are no words for it really. It was amazing. Go Here and witness for yourself. The Rainbow Brite bit made me the happiest. OH...and Amy. Amy is brilliant. And see the Turtle Poster? Yea, I painted that. Appreciate. So that was our cartoon show. I had audio recorded all of it (2 hours worth) and was just going to post that as my show report but Leah wanted a typed one, and then I was having issues...because...while you could hear what was going on...when someone is floorwalking with an audio device in their hair...you hear them more than anything else. And we just don't need 2 hours of me being loud. >.<

That's all from me honies. Remember All-Girl Lingerie show is coming up! Check the calender and we'll see you round! Love, peace, and chicken grease!
