Also we are doing Disturbia and Men in Tights…also terrifying…

The boys worked really hard on Disturbia, and I laughed my ass off along with everyone else because it was funny and gross all at the saaaame time. There was blood coming from Fishie’s “vagina” and I think Britt was having a seizure. Cody knew it and moves like a girl but totally should have had his Kelly wig on, and John got several “Hey baby”s until he turned around and saw he was a dude. GLORIOUS. And Beau was just gross because it was Beau.

Men in Tights, special thank-you goes out to Emily, who had to learn the Blinkin part the day of. This was fun because we got to wear tights and be butch, which some of us are, some of the time. But mostly not butch. But we tried.

The Virgin games were great because we finally had the “build a better Transvestite” game which I gave been looking forward to for soooo long, it was really adorable. I swear that Vex looks just like me from behind and several people came up to him thinking it was me, ha ha ha win. Anyway yes they were super gay in their little outfits and we all appreciated it.

On to the shooooooow….well I will say that this was hands down the BEST crowd of performers I have ever seen for an LB Drag Show! I was really, really impressed with all of the effort that I saw going into the preparation and auditions. Some parts were VERY difficult for me to choose who was going to play what because several people were very well prepared.

It was Beau’s birthday! And he finally got to play Columbia! He has been wanting to play for about 4 years now and has failed steadily at that task. But this time he played, and it was awful. He got most of it right, except Floorshow. Lesbian Scene – I HATE YOU for making me go up there (Danny, whoever else it doesn’t matter I am blaming Danny). I missed Toucha which I really wanted to see, it is your fault. I wanted to punch Beau in the face but I was afraid I would mess up his makeup. He did really well though, I truly enjoyed the “Take take take” lines. Superb.

Emily, well, she’s a pro and there wasn’t any fucking around with Crimmie this time, I can tell you. She nailed every one of those lines, and I am not surprised. And she was in a corset, which made up some for the fact that Beau was also in a corset. We had a little Robert Palmer up there too, which was funny. If you don’t get that, check out the Crim scenes in the photos.

Britt was bouncy and lanky and completely comfortable as mostly Man-genta. It really didn’t look like it bothered him to look all femmie, it made me laugh. He rubbed himself and it made me giggle.

Mary…or should I say Mini-Shannon…was Riff. It was so damn funny because watching her play Riff was like watching Shannie because she moves and acts the same. Her facial expressions were so mean yet funny, she was a great Riff and I was really proud of her for not laughing or killing anyone the whole time.

Amy, I had to have as Eddie, because she totally owned that shit. From the second she came out to audition, it was over. She owned it. The end. What’s uuuup baby???

Christy totally blew me away in the practicing, the audition, and at the show. She wanted the part and went after it! There aren’t that many first timers who go after Frank. I was so proud of her. She knew what to do, how to move, had an awesome Frankie attitude, and really made herself out to be the total center of attention. She ignored the right people, paid attention and was indignant when she needed to be, and I was damn impressed. I heard a lot of “hoooooot” when she would move around and stuff. It was coolness.

Megaaaan was our Brad, and what a super happy butch lesbo Brad she was. I was very happy to see her in there and in her Brad Majors element. She’s such a cute butch lesbo. (And she is single, and not stupid, hint hint). She really is a ham when she needs to be and I can appreciate that, especially for a Brad. She got the moves.

Bizah has played Dr. Scott a feeeew times and is always fun to watch because she is so dead pan about it, and doesn’t laugh when they make weird faces at her, so it is fun to watch her grope the others onstage…or be groped by Danny. She had a pretty good reaction for Danny’s balls though, I will say that.

Gussie made his debut as core as Janet. This boy practiced. He did things that I didn’t even notice our Janets weren’t doing…I am not sure if that is really a good thing. It was gross. But, I will take gross because accuracy and gross is what I look for in boys in a Drag Show. Mostly. He said his legs hurt for 2 days after running around in the heels all night, and a guy he didn’t know from his school came up to him on Monday and said he was an awesome Janet. Talk about fucked up.

Rocky was Eris. Eris had on super high gold spike shoes. I would have broken my neck, but she was just as graceful and beautiful as always. Eris is a creature of creation, where she can put herself into any part and be that character. I enjoy watching he blank face because it is such a lie for her to even pretend to be dumb. She’s gonna win the Nobel Prize, people. Just wait.

There were so many boys in dresses. *shudder* And this was sad and wonderful all at the same time. Walker totally won. It was terrifying. Emily bemused that he appeared more like a 12 year old girl because he had shaved his entire body save his head. He was very soft, he let me touch his arm. Emily didn’t seem bothered. Well, not that much…but he was soft like a kitten it was creepy. Again, see the pics.

Ashley was the most butch person at the whole show, which is super screwed up….

You can thank Paul for the photos, they were some really good ones, I was impressed.

This show rocked, save me feeling like ASS towards the end of the show. I am totally down for doing this twice a year…if I can stomach it.
